As I have experienced my life journey, I have realized the importance of healthy connections that encourage positive change and, in turn, better version of ourselves. I have also learned we cannot do it alone and need support from friends, family, mentors, etc. These connections instill confidence in our abilities to navigate life's challenges and press positively forward. At times, life experiences create messy circumstances that may require an outside perspective from a therapist. If we manage these experiences and process them properly, we can avoid further missteps with our decision making and achieve wellness and life goals.

Trauma work is one of my areas of emphasis because how disruptive traumatic experiences can be to our lives. It is important to properly manage the accumulation of traumatic episodes so we can avoid a crisis point. I assist clients through CBT, mindfulness, and narrative interventions (thoughts-feelings-behavior).

We are in the same social boat. To become better versions of ourselves, we need to care for ourselves holistically (mind, body, spirit). Life can get messy and requires an outside perspective to help one reconcile with life's challenges. As I work with clients, I foster a safe space free of judgement to create momentum and sustain positive momentum.
